When it rains, it pours. Well, that is certainly true for Curacao these days. But it (seldom) rains all day. Usually the sun breaks through and it is steaming hot. So fortunately we have a pool 🙂 The better kind of wet. // Als het regent, hoost het hier. Zeker in Curacao. Maar gelukkig regent het zelden de hele dag. En wanneer de zon weer doorbreekt, is het loeiheet. Gelukkig hebben we een zwembad bij de deur. Het goede nat 🙂

The good side of all this rain, is that my garden is immensely green. Trees are blooming and fruits are developing. // Het fijne van al die regen is dat alles groeit en bloeit.

The most beautiful flowers in the world. Tamarind. Pommegranate blossom and calabash in various stadia of growth. // De mooiste bloemetjes ter wereld: tamarijn(tamarinde), granaatappelbloesem / reuzenkalebas in diverse stadia van groei

Of course the rest of my garden is also luscious and green now. I have to mow the lawn twice a week 🙁 // Een paar keer per week mijn gras moeten maaien is dan weer een minpuntje…..

Still we have plenty of routes we can hike with the doggies. The outlooks are extra beautiful these days. // De wandelingen met de hondjes gaan gewoon door. We kunnen niet overal in het bos komen (ondergelopen) maar er blijven genoeg mooie routes over. En het is PRACHTIG!
